Directly to the rear of the memorial it is planned to have two time capsules. One wil me opened on July 4th 2107 and the second 100 years later. All organizations who assist in the fund raising will be entitled to place one 12"x 16" sealed manila envelope labeled with the organizations name in both of the time capsules. Envelopes can contain documents, photos, audio and visual recordings and other historical items. Envelopes will be vacuum sealed and placed iin water proof containers.

All individuals, families, and organizations who purchase bronze replicas or walkway bricks will be entitled to place on 10"x12" sealed manila envelope for placement in one of the time capsules. The second half will be placed in the second capsule. Envelopes will be brought or mailed to the Elks Lodge during the last week of June 2007. Capsules will be filled and sealed on July 6, 2008 to ensure that media coverage of the unveiling and dedication is included.
